Arketa supports Stripe card readers for taking in-person card payments. The Arketa team places the order for you — you can't order these readers on your own.
Which model to order

Stripe is discontinuing retail sales of the BBPOS WisePOS E on September 1, 2026. From that date, the Stripe Reader S710 is the reader we order for you.
Already have a WisePOS E? It keeps working with Arketa. You don't need to replace it.
You pay for the reader once — there's no ongoing rental fee for the hardware.
How to order
- Contact the Arketa support team via chat, or email support@arketa.com
- Let us know how many readers you need and which location each one is for
- We place the order through Stripe on your behalf
- The reader ships directly to your studio
Before you order
Make sure you have:
- A Stripe account connected to Arketa
- A location set up in Arketa — a reader is paired to a location, so you need at least one
- A reliable WiFi connection at your front desk area
After it arrives
