Sub management

Settings → Business → Sub Management controls whether team members can request substitutes when they can't cover a scheduled class.

Enable auto substitution management

Toggle Enable auto substitution management on to allow team members to request substitute instructors when they have a scheduling conflict. When off, substitutions must be arranged manually outside Arketa.

Manager approvals

Choose how accepted substitutions are handled:

• Require manager approval of accepted substitutions — a manager must approve before the sub is confirmed on the schedule.

If approval is not required, the substitution is confirmed automatically once a team member accepts the request.
