Member perks discounts
Give members automatic discounts on classes, retail, events, and more — no code required.
Member perks discounts use automated discounts to give your members special pricing automatically — no code needed. Whenever an eligible client checks out, the discount applies based on their active membership.
This is one of the most popular uses of automated discounts: rewarding members for their loyalty without adding friction at checkout.
Common member perk examples
- 10% off all retail — members save on merchandise every time they shop
- 15% off workshops and events — encourage members to attend special offerings
- 20% off private sessions — reward committed clients with a discount on one-on-one time
- Friends & family discount — a special rate for specific groups, applied automatically
- Staff discount — 50% off retail or reduced-price sessions for your team
Set up a member perks discount
- Go to Settings → Discounts
- Click Add New
- Under Specify customer eligibility, select Specific pricing options and choose the membership(s) and/or specific clients that should receive the perk. Can also designate specifically tagged customers
- Under Specify code use, select what the discount applies to — retail, events, service types, etc.
- Set the discount amount (percentage or fixed)
- Click Save changes
Only active, visible subscriptions/memberships appear in the customer eligibility selector. Class packs, bundles, and hidden pricing options won't appear. If your membership isn't showing up, confirm it's a recurring subscription type and set to visible. See automated discounts for more on eligibility rules.
How it works at checkout
When a member purchases an eligible item, the discount is applied automatically — they don't need to enter a code. If they cancel or their membership lapses, the discount no longer applies.
Tips
- Use member perks to make membership more valuable relative to drop-in pricing
- Stack perks across tiers — basic members get 10% off retail, premium members get 20%
- Combine with a commitment period so clients have a reason to stay active to keep their perks
