Edit or delete a service type
Update or remove appointment service types.
Edit a service type
- Go to Setup → Service Types → Appointments
- Find the service type you want to change
- Click the three dots at the end of its row and select Edit
- Make your changes and click Save details
Changes apply going forward — existing appointments already booked using this service type won't be affected unless you manually update them.
Delete a service type
- Go to Setup → Service Types → Appointments
- Find the service type
- Click the three dots at the end of its row and select Delete
- Click Yes, delete to confirm
Deleting a service type removes it from the booking page. Any existing appointments booked with this service type remain on the calendar — they're not deleted automatically.
Deactivating vs. deleting
There's no separate deactivate option. Deleting a service type marks it Inactive — it won't appear on your booking page, but its history and settings are preserved. You can bring it back any time from the Deleted service types page: open dashboard.arketa.com/dashboard/manage/service-types/deleted, then select Restore in the service type's row menu. The page isn't linked from the dashboard menus, so use this link.
