App troubleshooting

Fix common issues clients experience with the branded mobile app.

Before contacting Arketa support, have the client try these steps and gather this information.

Information to collect

  • Device type and model (e.g., iPhone 15, Samsung Galaxy S24)
  • App version
  • What they were trying to do
  • The exact error message (or a screenshot)
  • When the issue started
  • Whether restarting the device helped

iOS troubleshooting

1. Force quit and reopen Swipe up from the bottom (or double-press Home) to see open apps, swipe the app away, then reopen it.

2. Check for app updates Go to the App Store → search for your app → tap Update if available. Outdated app versions cause compatibility issues.

3. Restart the device A restart clears temporary files that can cause app issues.

4. Check for iOS updates Settings → General → Software Update. Outdated iOS can cause app behavior issues.

5. Reinstall the app Delete the app and reinstall from the App Store. This fixes corrupted installations.

Android troubleshooting

1. Restart the device A simple restart fixes many minor glitches.

2. Check for app updates Open Google Play → search for your app → tap Update if available.

3. Clear app cache Settings → Apps → [your app] → Storage → Clear Cache. This can resolve display or loading issues without losing login info.

4. Uninstall and reinstall If cache clearing doesn't help, uninstall and reinstall the app.
