Reserve classes with credits from future billing periods

Let members book classes in advance using credits from upcoming billing cycles, and configure when this is allowed.

When Allow reserving classes with credits from future billing periods is enabled on a pricing option, members can use credits from their next billing cycle to book classes scheduled in that future cycle — without being charged again at the time of booking.

Credits from a future billing cycle cannot be used for classes in the current billing cycle.

Enable or disable the setting

  1. Go to your pricing options and open the one you want to configure (e.g., a membership or subscription)
  2. Click the three dots (•••) next to it and select Edit
  3. Scroll to Billing Options
  4. Toggle Allow reserving classes with credits from future billing periods on or off
  • On — members can use next-cycle credits to book future classes
  • Off — members can only use credits within their current billing cycle

Prevent future credit usage entirely

To lock members to their current billing cycle only, configure all three of these settings:

Under Billing Options:

  • Allow client to book unpaid if they have no credits → Yes
  • Allow reserving classes with credits from future billing periods → No

Under Advanced Access Settings:

  • Restrict credit redemption to the current billing period → Yes

Together, these settings ensure credits are only redeemable in the active billing period.

Limitations

Guest passes — this feature does not apply to guest passes. Guest passes are issued only after a billing cycle is successfully processed, so they can't be used for advance bookings. As a workaround, you can manually add a guest for free to reserve a spot.

Current billing period — future credits cannot be pulled into the current billing cycle.
